TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Bay Sun FC are continuing to build the future of the club with the addition of three standout young players to the Sun Academy: Kallie Bleistein, Jaeda Russell and Addison Jericho.
All three players currently compete with Florida Premier FC, where they have continued to develop as some of the region’s promising young talents. Their addition to the Sun Academy provides an opportunity to continue that development within the professional environment of the Tampa Bay Sun while remaining with Florida Premier.
Kallie Bleistein
A defender for Florida Premier, Kallie Bleistein brings a strong presence to the back line and a promising future to the Sun Academy. Bleistein is committed to continue her collegiate career at the University of South Florida, where she will join the Bulls.
Jaeda Russell
Jaeda Russell joins the Sun Academy as a midfielder after developing with Florida Premier. Russell is committed to the University of South Carolina and has also earned international experience with the Puerto Rico U-17 Women’s National Team.
Her experience at both the club and international levels adds to an already impressive young career as she continues to develop her game.
Addison Jericho
A standout for Florida Premier, Addison Jericho is set to continue her collegiate career at the University of Florida, where she will join the Gators.
Jericho has also represented the U.S. Youth National Team, gaining experience on the international stage and competing among some of the top young players in the country.
Building the Future of the Sun
The addition of Bleistein, Russell and Jericho reflects the Tampa Bay Sun’s continued investment in developing young talent and creating a pathway for players to grow within the club.
While continuing their careers with Florida Premier, the three players will now also be part of the Sun Academy, giving them the opportunity to train, develop and gain experience within the Sun’s professional environment.
