Media members may apply for match credentials HERE. An application does not guarantee approval. Tampa Bay Sun Football Club reserves the right to deny or modify access at its discretion.
In most cases, approved credentials will be issued for single games, not for a full season. Credentials, seating space, and media parking are limited and will be made available at the club’s discretion.
ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED AT LEAST 72 HOURS AHEAD OF THE MATCH YOU ARE REQUESTING TO ATTEND. *
Credentials are limited to media outlets requesting game day access to produce editorial coverage, not for spectators to watch the match. This includes newspapers, TV, radio and legitimate websites that produce consistent and professional content adhering to accepted journalistic principles. All media must be working for a specific media outlet to be accredited. Applications from freelance media may require additional validation from their associated media outlet or supervisor. Tampa Bay Sun Football Club does not provide credentials for personal social media channel coverage unless previously discussed and approved by the club. For travel or scheduling purposes, if you require approval for future dates or activities that are not listed, please email media@tampabaysunfc.com.
ATTIRE AND PROFESSIONALISM
Media members are expected to dress professionally, with no jerseys or team representation of any kind. Media members may not make any personal use of their access—including, but not limited to, requesting and/or obtaining autographs or personal photographs.
WORKING AREAS
Credentials MUST be worn and visible at all times. Photographers and videographers may receive bibs at media check-in; if bibs are distributed, they must be worn at all times. Bibs must be returned in the media work room before leaving the stadium. Credentialed photographers and videographers can shoot from behind the end boards—off the field—on the east and west ends of the pitch. During opening ceremonies and half-time
ceremonies, photographers can shoot from behind the side boards—off the field—on the north side of the pitch. Media are not permitted onto the pitch at any time. The small room at the top of the south bleachers is a production box used by the in-game production crew; it is not a press box or media area.
REPORTING ONLY IN APPROVED AREAS
Media members may only report on or capture information in designated media areas. These designated areas are 1) the pitch and 2) the media work room located in the gymnasium building. Player contact/interactions are prohibited as you move to and from the media work area in the gymnasium building. Do not attempt to access any area of the gymnasium other
than the media work area. There is no media locker room access.
Requests to capture content in other areas may be made to the club at least 24 hours in advance. Reporting on any information captured outside of approved areas may result in immediate and future loss of access. For example, any information intended for players, coaches, or staff that is posted in or dispersed throughout club facilities (such as memos/notes in lockers or signs hanging in the building) may not be reported, photographed, or captured on video.
